| For doctor´s note | Whenever the asterisk (*) section of the policy indicates that traveller's insurance has been taken out, the insurance will pay without maximum monetary limit medical treatment expenses caused by travel-time illness and travel-time accident. In the event of hospitalization or in cases which may necessitate repatriation or evacuation, Eurooppalainen must be notified immediately. In addition to the policyholder, the insurance covers those family members and grandchildren who are under 15 years of age accompanying him/her on the trip. If the insured dies during the trip, reasonable transportation expenses or burial expenses abroad will be compensated against the original invoice or receipt.
